There will be free time to explore the permanent collections, treasures of Canada’s most loved artists, glimpses of private collections, and browse the gift shop. Then on to the world famous Royal Botanical Gardens for lunch at the Garden Annex Café (our entrée will be Chicken Supreme). This is the way to enjoy Niagara: a mimosa in hand; Michael Pinkus, “The Grape Guy” giving us some background on the burgeoning wine region; a visit to two of the region’s special wineries; and someone else to do the driving! Our coach stops first at Flat Rock Cellars, where we will learn how wine is created through the gentle process of using gravity only, and have a chance to taste the result. Next, to the village of Jordan where we will have time to enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants and pubs and to explore some of the delightful shops (noon – 2:00 p.m.). At 2:00 p.m. we gather at the Cave Spring Cellars Winery for tastes of their famous Rieslings. We depart for Toronto at about 4:00 p.m.

Return: 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.
