Older Adults are Invited for Paid Research Participation

Programs for 50+ in The Chang School offers older adults various opportunities to participate in research studies in the various schools and departments in Ryerson University. The following is an offering from the School of Psychology to be listed in their data bank of seniors willing to participate in any of their research studies open to you. Please feel free to contact them directly as noted if you wish to be on their lists.

Older Adults are Invited for Paid Research Participation - Department of Psychology, Ryerson University

If you are aged 60 or above and healthy, you are invited to participate in psychology studies directed by Dr. Lixia Yang and her colleagues in the Department of Psychology at Ryerson University. These studies examine perception, cognition and thinking in people of different ages. They involve some computerized tasks and/or paper-and-pencil questionnaires.

Participation is CONFIDENTIAL and participants will receive compensation ($10/hr) for their time and effort.

LIFE FALL 2009 CURRICULUM

We hope you are enjoying your summer. Our next session will begin in September. Some of you have been asking about the Fall curriculum and when it will be available. The Fall calendar is being produced and will be set for mailing mid to late July. We will mail it to you automatically (along with the annual membership renewal form) upon its arrival if you are a 2008/2009 member of the LIFE Institute or a Spring 08/09 Special Guest of the LIFE Institute. In addition, all those who requested this year's Spring calendar and did not join, will receive this year's Fall calendar. If you have a friend or relative who is interested in the LIFE Institute and wishes to receive the calendar, please e-mail their Name, Full Mailing Address, and telephone number to lifeinst@ryerson.ca.
