MORE INFORMATION ON THE WINTER 2010
OUT & ABOUT PROGRAM:
Several members have expressed interest in “Out and About” (W20 in the winter calendar) and have asked what visits will be included. Here is the list. Full details will be sent to registrants before the first visit. (The cost of this program is $25)

February 10: Osgoode Hall This picturesque landmark property has been the centre of legal life in Ontario for over 75 years. The historic venue is surrounded by pictorial landscaped gardens. There are many rooms to explore such as Convocation Hall, Portrait Room, Museum and many more.
February 17: National Film Board Enjoy a documentary that is uniquely Canadian, entitled ‘A Souvenir of Canada’ by Douglas Copeland (Coupeland). Copeland is a multi-media artist and author. The film is based on his book about a house that he built that is ‘all things Canadian’. A discussion will follow.
March 3: Art Gallery of Ontario Come and enjoy a special in-depth tour of the European Gallery that will include some of the Ken Thomson artefacts that were recently bequeathed to the Gallery. A discussion will follow.
March 31: Allan Gardens The timing is perfect to enjoy the spring flowers and Easter lilies in bloom. There will be a guided tour and time to wander around and take in the gorgeous blooms.
April 7: Museum of Inuit Art Enjoy over 300 works of Inuit art, pottery, print, drawings and wall hangings. Participate in a discussion of Inuit life, art and the Arctic.
