Enjoy a very special Spring walk—an informative tour of Toronto’s new public art commissions—as we raise money for a worthy cause. We will begin in City Place, one of Toronto’s newest downtown neighbourhoods, south of Front Street, where we will view a number of new installations, including Canoe Landing Park. We will continue past the Rogers Centre and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre; the tour will conclude at Maple Leaf Square and the Telus House at 15 York Street.
Meeting location: Corner of Fort York Boulevard and Telegram Mews, in front of the Sobeys Grocery Store.
Jane Perdue, our tour guide, is the Public Art Coordinator, Urban Design, City of Toronto.
Limited to 30 participants
Please register in advance.
The proceeds from this walk will be donated to LIFE Institute Legacy for Learning in support of Caring Clowns, a program that uses humour as a way to engage and excite residents of long-term care homes.
