HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

A Catalogue will be created describing your initiative that will be available to ALL LIFE MEMBERS.

These initiatives will have a short description, the donor’s name and phone number with the price (see examples below).

NB: All Purchases and Arrangements will be agreed upon and made by the SELLER and BUYER.

The BUYER makes the cheque payable to the SELLER for the amount agreed upon, then the SELLER gives her or his cheque to the LIFE INSTITUTE – made out to: “LEGACY FOR LEARNING” - and the SELLER receives a Charitable Receipt from the LIFE INSTITUTE.

SUGGESTED EXAMPLES that could be initiated for the proposed Catalogue:

• Dinner for Four - Sam and Sarah’s Poached Salmon Dinner $50/per person
  A five-course meal including cocktails and wines - Given by Sam and Sarah Fish


• Birthday or Anniversary Cake - Made by Pam Candle $TBA


• Christmas or Chanukah Cookies - Made by Merry Batter $12/doz


• Investment Counseling - Morris Money offers investment advice $25/hour


• Light Home Repairs - Helen Handy offers do repairs at your home $25/hour

Please remember to use the Course Registration Sheet in the booklet for yourself & the Guest Registration Sheet for your friend. If you require additional Guest Sign-up sheets, please contact the office 416-979-5000 x6989 or come by during LIFE INSTITUTE office hours (10 AM-3 PM Monday to Thursday).

Registration (as always) is on a first come first served basis. We look at both the mailed application's post mark as well as walk-in application time and dates & sort through in an unbiased manner accordingly. You may pay by cheque or cash only. We can not accept credit or debit cards. Your signature is required on the release of reliability, or your registration form will NOT be processed.

Registration begins Monday, March 23rd at 10 AM.
