It
is with deep sadness that The LIFE Institute shares the news that Kevin
Courrier, a much-adored LIFE lecturer of many years, passed away Friday,
October 12. Many of you will remember Kevin from the years of movie
courses he taught for The LIFE Institute. Kevin was a gifted, insightful
scholar who elevated our understanding and appreciation of popular
culture.
As per his wishes, a Sarcoma Research Fund has been set up at the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation in Kevin's name, should you wish to make a donation.
A memorial service also is being organized; details will be shared on the Critics at Large website in the near future. Kevin and his beret will be deeply missed.
